A kid friendly Aromatherapy Soy wax Candle contains seven carefully selected essential oils known for their calming relaxing and sedative effects. 

Sandalwood: Relieves stress and tension, instils inner peace. Sandalwood is high in sesquiterpenes, the chemical component that stimulates the pineal gland in the brain creating deep relaxation of the nervous system. The pineal gland produces melatonin and releases it into the blood stream. Science has revealed that melatonin is responsible for regulating the sleep cycle.

Amber: Has a calming, sedative psychoactive effect that relaxes brain waves.

Patchouli: Mood-enhancing with antidepressant properties. Relaxes the body of its stress- relieving molecules.

Vetiver: Calms over excitation, stress and nervous tension. Balances moods and promotes restful sleep.

Cedar Wood: Promotes a sense of security. The scent stimulates the limbic region of the brain (the centre of emotions) and the pineal gland, which releases melatonin. Recognised for its calming and purifying properties.

Benzoin: Its tranquilising and sedative properties help relieve anxiety, calm nerves and relax muscles, inducing sleep.

Ylang Ylang: Calms thoughts, eases busy minds, and reduces tension and anxiety to promote restful, peaceful sleep.


USE: Burn in a closed room for 10 minutes prior to sleep. Apply on pulse points. Rub a little on soles of feet, temples, neck, belly and wrists. Anywhere that will continue to diffuse the aroma into the air.

This Surmanti Aromatherapy Soy Candle is housed in an elegant black airtight glass jar (as heat, sunlight and air are detrimental to the chemistry and effectiveness of natural products) and beautifully adorned with a gold Surmanti “signature” coin.

Comes beautifully packaged in a matte black luxury tube with gold hot stamping and a gold embossed surmanti signature coin.

Extinguish by placing lid over the candle after 20-30mins (excessive use may cause headaches or nausea). Always trim wick to 1/2cm before relighting.
